Lucy Bronze deserves Ballon d’Or, says Phil Neville


LE HAVRE France (Liberal Tribune): Lucy Bronze is playing in England’s 3-0 World Cup quarter-final succeed over Norway was so remarkable it had her coach, Phil Neville, restoring calls for the 27-year-old to win the Ballon d’Or.

Lucy Bronze has many qualities, but attaining goals is not actually one of them. However, her goal on Thursday was related to her amazing strike to beat Norway at the 2015 World Cup in Canada.

“She has just obtained such power, whether that’s her shooting, her passing, her running. It was an unbelievable finish from her. I’m very satisfied for her,” said Scott, the midfielder who, like Lucy Bronze, is a native of England’s north-east.
